Remote Sensing & GIS

Geographic Information Systems

Remote sensing is the scanning of the earth by satellite or high-flying aircraft in order to obtain information about it. PARE employs GIS professionals who dig deeper to prodive us with increased levels of knowledge, superior to that of our competition. For example, LIDAR-created maps can identify native burial mounds and tree canopy height. This granular data helps us be more informed and enables us to make better comparisons. Through the eyes of GIS, a deeper level of understanding is gained.
